It’s all falling into place again

Great day out today visiting Merdeka (Freedom) Square where Malaysia signed its independence, the National Museum, a wonderful textile museum with indescribably beautiful sarongs, the Central Market, a Taoist Temple, Hindu Temple and Mosque. The architecture here is beautiful and varied but has been crowded out with the necessities of modern living. There are plans to develop and we hope it will be done sympathetically so the historic buildings can come to the fore. What a difference a day makes!

Crochet, colour, braiding, macrame, jewellery - some of the things I'm currently loving and learning about, often inspired by travel. I also want to explore more about eco-friendly materials.
